A foundational practice that focuses on detailed technique of postures. Poses tend to be held longer as you’ll be guided through postural alignment. This class is suitable for beginners to understand the foundation of basic poses, and for advanced students to deepen their existing practice. This class may include meditation and pranayama breath work.
When muscle meets yoga, Yoga Sculpt is born.
Yoga Sculpt is a combination of Vinyasa flow, body resistance exercises and cardio HIIT intervals. This class will challenge endurance, boost metabolism and build lean muscle mass through a combination of power yoga and interval cardio HIIT exercises to boost overall fat burn in a 60 minute session. Be prepared for the added sweat as the room will be mildly heated.
Hatha – Alignment
This practice is characterised by precision and alignment in the execution of the postures (asanas), sequencing of the postures towards a desired result (classes are often themes, timing in the length of time the asanas are held for maximum benefit, and the use of props if required to help a student gain the maximum benefit from each asana.
A dynamic style of yoga influenced by Ashtanga Yoga. This practice begins with traditional sun salutations, which then follows a flowing series of postures. Don’t be surprised if Kat has you coming up into an arm balances out of nowhere! This practice will have you feeling sweaty, soulful, and physically empowered by the end of it.
