THIS IMMERSION WILL BE HELD VIA ZOOM
The real Hatha Yogi is the one with the intuitive wisdom of channelling and directing his/her energy in a particular way for a particular yogic experience. Physical postures are one aspect of this. Understanding the mechanics of the body, creating a certain atmosphere, and then using the body or body postures to drive ones energy in specific directions is what Hatha Yoga or Yoga Asanas are about. This 10-week immersion program is a gateway into understanding one of the most important underlying principles of Hatha Yoga: the Prana Vayus, with the intelligence of dropping into ones energetic system to transform, alter, and reach higher levels of conscious-awareness.
In this practical and theoretical based immersion, we will explore the different forms through which prana expresses itself in the body through yogic tools (postures, breathwork, meditation). Every session begins with a 90 minute asana and pranayama practice that explores the mechanics of the body, creating a certain atmosphere through asana, and then using the body postures and deep pranayama practices to drive ones energy in specific directions. Thereafter, we dive deeper into philosophy and yoga science, examining the physiological and psychological effects of specific Prana Vayus in the body and in sequence to deepen our knowledge in addressing future individual physical, mental, and emotional needs.
Whether you are a yoga teacher or a practitioner, this immersion will move you deeper into the science of Prana Vayus. A scientific application that carries energetic wisdom in supporting students on a physiological and psychological level. Students may apply this knowledge towards their teachings or towards their personal sadhana.
This live online immersion is for those that are ready to explore, and deepen their conversations and teachings of Hatha Yoga. Join me if you are ready to dive in, say yes to this immersive program that opens us up to the greater ancient teachings of Yoga.

Module 1 deepens our knowledge of the five Prana Vayus, exploring the energetic and mental body through the practices of yoga asana. The integrative yoga asana practices anchor students into a deeper felt-sense connection to their body, opening them up in receiving insight into the physiological and psychological effects of prana vayu. Each yoga asana session is thereafter followed by an appropriate lecture on the metaphysics of Prana derived from the Hatha Yoga & Tantra Yoga lineage. By the end of module, students will have the knowledge to understand various bodies from an energetic perspective. Knowing how to transform and heal the nervous system and energetic body through intelligent sequence of the prana vayus.
Module 2 goes more subtle into the body as we explore the prana vayus in the pranamaya kosha body – the pranic body. In this module we explore various pranayama techniques associated with the prana vayus. Students will gain insight into the physiological and psychological effects of particular pranayama techniques, and how to apply and address particular bodies through breathwork. In module 2 students will be encouraged to structure and lead a 90 minute online yoga asana and pranayama practice to teach the group as their final project.
